Polypropylene polymer and rubber have been extensively utilized due to their easy processability, light weight, chemical resistance, and flexibility. Their mechanical, thermal, and elastic performance are enhanced significantly when reinforced with iron powder. Adequate dispersion of iron powder in polypropylene and rubber materials helps increase thermal stability, storage modulus, strength, and elasticity. Crystallinity and dielectric behavior are also affected by this reinforcement; therefore, polypropylene-rubber composites can be utilized in applications where enhanced durability, flexibility, stability, and control over electrical properties are required under various operating conditions.
